How Do I...
Make An Appointment?

All patients are seen by appointment, but if your condition is urgent and cannot wait for a routine appointment, please inform reception.

When making an appointment, please let the receptionist know who you normally see or would prefer to see. We encourage that you see the same doctor for ongoing conditions and encourage continuity of care.

In the event that you need to speak with a doctor or nurse for advice, discuss this with the receptionist who will explain the procedure to you.

Cancellations
There are times when you may decide you don't need to see the doctor after all. Perhaps a problem has cropped up at short notice and you can't attend. Whatever the reason, please inform us so we can offer your appointment to someone else. Ring the main surgery number on 01622 754874 and leave a message.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

The Medical Centre has all the facilities needed for examination, investigation and treatment. It is in your best interests to attend the surgery if at all possible. Housebound patients should request visits before 10.00am. Home visit and urgent requests may be handled by a doctor or a triage nurse to assess the priority of the case and decide the best course of action. This could include advice only, attending an emergency surgery or a home visit.
