Practice Charter
Confidentiality
The practice respects and adheres to the privacy of patients. You are requested to sit in the main waiting room until called to the GP/practice nurse that you have your appointment with. We request that the
main walkways of the surgery are kept clear as much as possible.
Complaints
Please send all complaints in writing to the practice manager or Dr Peter Szwedziuk.
Removal of Patients from GPs' Lists
We adopt the Royal College of General Practitioners guidelines on the removal of patients and we will not hesitate to remove patients who:
- are violent or abusive (including racist abuse) to any practice member.
- use, or condone, threatening or violent behaviour.
- cause damage to, or steal from practice premises/staff/patients.
- obtain drugs and/or medical services fraudulently.
- repeatedly cancel appointments without notification. These patients may be asked to leave the practice.
Freedom Of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to routinely make available.
This scheme is available from reception.
